so my downloads have been disabled, even though my ratio is good, and i’ve been seeding the same 9 torrents for like, 2 weeks…
I got tagged for hit-n-runs somehow, i’m guessing because no one else downloaded the same torrent so i wasn’t able to seed?
I don’t know, but it’s retarded. My uploaded amount is 5x my downloaded amount.
Do you still have it active in your torrent client? Is your torrent client a supported client? I seed all mine but some if I start to run out of hard drive space will get the can and typically those haven’t been seeded to the .7 they require (just gotta make sure nobody has downloaded in the previous 72 hours…).
LOL @ Jay… I dunno when I had newsgroups I enjoyed it, but I seemed to find exactly what I wanted music and movie wise much easier via private torrents (plus it’s free).
I’m using Utorrent, if i look at my profile in dvdclub it shows my ratio at 1.926.
Also it shows that i’ve completed 10 torrents, and i’m seeding 7. They are all still active in uTorrent as “seeding”, but only every once in awhile do they actually upload to someone. I dunno, I sent a message to a mod 2 days ago with no reply, i’ll probably just stop seeding and go back to non-private trackers
The only thing I can think is the the 3 you aren’t seeding were deemed a hit and run… If it wasn’t a mod I am sure will help ya out.
Do NOT Hit N Run!! You MUST seed each torrent to at least a 0.7 ratio. However if after 72 hours of continuous seeding with 0 leechers on that torrent, then and only then may you stop your torrent below the minimum ratio. If you do not follow to these rules you will be warned regardless of your class.
Everyone should aim for a 1.0 torrent ratio. We realize this may not always be possible, this is why we have the H&R rule. Due to the great amount of free torrents on the site staff will always look at your individual torrent ratio first and foremost. Your global ratio comes second. If you have an excessively low global ratio your account may be disabled.
