I never found anything on demenoid i couldnt just hit and run on another public tracker.
And demenoid is too easy to get a account to. Find me a waffles invite… I need one.

I always hit up Demonoid for shit that I don’t want to download elsewhere, like software and OS isos.

What makes what.cd and demonoid so much better? Anything in particular that sets it above the free ones?
demonoid isn’t really private anymore :\ (or at least, it’s partially private) which sucks
I always liked Demonoid because of the closed enviroment , the community and the comments. 9.9 times out of 10 you could d/l with confidence that you were getting a clean file, it’s exactly what it was described as and usually had plenty of seeders.
If not, it would be removed fairly fast and people would let you know.
The pirate bay is good like that too, only with a lot more junk

Yes private sites ratios exist to prevent people from just downloading and never putting back to the community, they use the banstick fast and often on these, and are invite only, a few I am on are not even invite based, you got on at the beginning and that was that.
Also speeds are incredible :tup: I typically see 2Mbps+ from what.cd

Also, thedvdclub.org I should have invites soon. I <3 that site. All it has are vob files from dvd rips in R5 and R9.

Demonoid has a reputation as keeping a clean and orderly site. The tracker was never private it was always public. The site is semi-private. Most torrent sites don’t have the resources to be able to calculate ratios correctly, therefore making them pretty useless.
