The Future of Mobile Phones? Motorola Atrix

This phone is a dual core with 1gb of ram. Hell, I’ve been editing HD video on a single core with 2gb or ram for 5 years :eek3:

The same video?

The same video as… ?

The same video for 5 years…was a joke…tee hee

Sometimes it feels like it, lol.

I think rather then remote wipe there should be a remote boom. Small amount of C4 should do it. Honestly my iphone does most of what I use my home laptop for.

I have an i7 core 8gb ram 64bit laptop. :slight_smile:

That is pretty freaking cool. I am not sure if I will be staying with the iPhone come June with all this new technology and ways to use a cell phone now. The facetime is cool however, I do take my MacBook Air around with me everywhere as its really easy to carry and use anywhere so not sure if its worth carrying around the added hardware to use my cell phone as a laptop.

I wondered years ago why they didn’t do this.

I totally missed that this phone has a fingerprint reader to unlock it;

I think the technology to make a smart phone with the proper battery life and also the power to actually match a mobile device like a network just didn’t exist yet. Think of a phone with the laptop power span of 3 hours. Now we are seeing netbooks and batteries in laptops last 7 hours so finally this is coming to the mobile phone market and allowing the devices to be light portable and cheap.

Sometimes I think the technology has been there to build the ultimate product but they just keep selling us lesser products just to profit/stay in business. lol

Looks like $600 unlocked but only $150 with a 2 year AT&T contract. Not bad.
I’m hoping AT&T goes really aggressive into Android to offset losing the exclusive with the iFags.

Yeah that’s a great subsidized price. I’m waiting for Mobile World Congress before I decide if I’m jumping to the Android ship.

is like the mobile industry’s trade show?

Kinda, it’s the largest mobile phone industry exhibition in the world. And most big announcements happen then since all the CEO’s are there.
