so i bought this 1988 non turbo supra for $300, working power everything, targa top but it was a POS. i would drive it back and forth to work with a dealer plate and then have some fun in the snow at night. so heres the car. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TM9g9rkAF-U
i wanted to make it look “better” so i tried that garbage lip on the supra. i thought it looked kinda wierd/gay/. so i ended up breaking it off. and then sold the car.
i like it. that supra is something else… but the smaller ones are cool. obviously they only work on older cars, boxier ones usually. but theres this pic of a civic with one, and its one of my favs, looks reaaally nice imo.
When I first looked at the subie I thought it was originally there. Looks good on a couple civics and an 86. I believe Pat did it to his race car and Amanda did it to her purple 240.
That’s what I was thinking. Toss on a Mr.Plow vinyl and you’re good on the Supra. The third pic has a clean lip. I think it works best with track sluts, and haggard cars. Anything else and it looks out of place. I wouldn’t stick it on a clean virgin. I prefer the cleaned up look, but I kind of like the worn and torn rat style.
