I was browsing NICO, and found something like this on there, and decided to create a thread like that here. I guess I’ll start it off. I’m still in high school (victory lap ftw!) I gots a shitty part time job, but somehow, i managed to save up, and got lucky finding this…
there is virtually no rust (except for the surface rust on the drivers side skirt).

I found it on kijiji, i actually thought it was one of those fake ad’s because the car just looked so damn good, and was being sold for only 1700$. I went and saw the seller, and got the price dropped to 1200$. The car was located not far from me in mississauga (dixie and lakeshore). There is 270k on the original engine (KA24E) and body, and the guy I got it from is the 2nd owner. He’s had it for the last 12 years, never been driven in winter. The only issue with the car atm, is that the headgasket is leaking. Cant wait to fix it up and get her on the road!
Well, ill go next I got no money but I have a 93’ 240sx haha, Im also victory lap highschool ftw :). I bought it for 2800, with 170 kilometers on it im the 4th owner, and it is completely stock. the car came with a set a rims the company is ADR advanti racing, I have no idea if these are good rims? or just crappy tire ones they look alright though. It also came with a AEM intake 
and a new 3aracing muffler.
Little work needs to be done on the front, other than that there is nothing 
fix that huge paint chip! lol.

Got mine 240sx for 1400$ with 180kms on it, swapped ka24de. No surface rust but frame sucks, as well as interior is not in the best shape. Already scratched it 3 times :(. got a catback on it though
needs a new paintjob too lol

Worked for couple years when I was 13-14 doing a paper route to save up for the one in the back, bought it when I was 15. it’s been successful in keeping me poor. The other one I’ve had for about a year, VERY slow project, Sr, black interior swap, welded, body work, yadda yadda. Beginning of next season it’ll get painted and finished up hopefully.
Looks like we got quite the Victory lap crew going, haha.
Pretty sweet deals … I got my car for $100 because the guy blew the motor… After finding out my brother had a working SOHC KA sitting in the garage i figured itd be worth it to have it swapped… turns out my uncle was willing to help me do it for free… so basically i got a bone stock car for $100

Frame is pretty solid… Two small wholes on the frame right in the rear wheel wells. Other than that just bits and pieces of surface rust.

Just the stock Ka, minor mods. Nothing special, its held up for me so far though. (knock on wood)
First POS project, bought it in my final year of highschool after saving the last couple years.

s13 - bought in arpil or may for 3500. tires/rims, k&n typhoon intake, magna flow custom 2 1/2" from down pipe, clutch masters stage 1, extremestop rotors, tein springs/kyb gr2’s, system (stereo) 8000k h.i.d’s 180sx front turns, e-bay short shifter and strut bars (they work) and a crank seal (only say this cause i did it on saturday. and i know theres a shit load more stuff i’ve done. but i don’t member. car was bone stock when i got it.
88 s10 - bought this 2 years ago in august for 3 grand. freshly painted w/3" body lift sittin on 31x10.5R15 i got fuckin ripped. never buy a freshly paint car! we checked this thing front to back didn;t see anything. everything looked mint. well 8 months later frame collapsed. body is bubbling everywhere right now. anywayyyyyyyyyys
04 front spindles (dual piston calipers) 04 rear end (disc’s and sway)
33x12.5R15 3" body lift. 5" front 6" rear suspension lift urethane EVERYTHING. really i can go on all day with this thing. but my post is already to friggin long. oh did i mention it’s basically a frame off? frame is a 92

first 240, OSAP paid for it the first time i went to college. $260, single came automatic. it was awful, i hated it so much… yet it started the addiction. swapped in a twin cam 5 speed, cold air intake, coilovers and some other basic mods. it’s now a cube of metal. these pictures are when i first got it.
second 240. bought this one for $500 which i had to borrow from friends at the time, it was stock and needed a lot of mechanical work but the body and underbody were pretty solid. only way i could afford to fix it was by stealing parts from the other one. i ended up selling this one, then buying it back later as a parts car… it’s now also a cube of metal. these pictures are after it was all fixed up and the mods were swapped over from the old car.
after these ones i sort of had money, so they don’t really count.
I don’t have pics, but most of you have prolly seen my 92’ 180sx, and i’m broke :(.
How’s the insurance on your 180?
