Suggestions? I want something that is clear first. I’ve already scratched the screen a few times, so it’d be niec to have as long as it doesn’t look crappy.

I don’t really ever look at the back. although 90% of them from with front and back. I just don’t want scratches all over the screen I look at. My old e71 had the metal back scratched to shit and I didn’t really care… “patina”.

i will never understand how anyone can thing that jailbreaking/rooting etc wont void warranty, its like modding a car and still expecting the dealer to honor the warranty if it breaks

the best screen protector i have used was the ZAGGS, this one never pealed and was durable as hell. it wasnt like a hard plastic like most it was a stretchy clear vinyl almost like clear bras on cars. i went through like 10 of the shitty ones and then put a ZAGG front cover on and it didnt come off till right before i sold my 3GS.

Jailbreaking doesn’t change any ROM parts so DFU mode still works and can reinstall any IPSW. Jailbreak is just changing parts in the OS itself. If you run the Openiboot installer and break something, you are on your own as it installs parts of the ROM memory that needs to access.

If you bring a normal iDevice back to Apple that is running a clean IPSW that was restored after jailbreaking, then it should be covered. Its like saying your laptop device is out of warranty for installing a new OS on it.
