Well, finished up the wiring for all the cluster stuff completely removing the stock ecu, pulled out the original engine, and snagged myself a columnpod(god i hate columnpods). Oh well.
I’m sorry there’s not a lot of “flashy” stuff yet, just ordered all my hard parts today.
What’s left of the OEM wiring harness:
All the OEM wiring cut, and necessary stuff spliced back in(not cleaned up yet, pipe down) - not trimming down useless pigtails till it runs and I KNOW nothings wrong…

PS all the gauges work! and NO check engine, nor warning lights!!! That made me happy.

Lol, I’m not susceptible to audi tax. I get cost on all my parts luckily 
HP/TQ will be about 700awhp and 500awtq on race gas, and 500awhp on pump. Entirely doable on the current setup from the jetta w/a bit larger compressor wheel.

no, there’s no need for meth. I’m a simplicity kind of person. 93 oct, and C16 are my only “additives”. I’ve done plenty of meth kits on mine and others cars, and have ultimately decided that I’m not a fan.

what happened to our idea/remedy for this?
how are you runnin autronic and not throwing codes/engine lights?Will this pass obd 2 scan?
Because there’s no stock ecu to throw a code, and all the engine sensors that run to the cluster(oil pressure, coolant level, coolant temp, oil temp, rpm, speedo, starter trigger and alternator exciter) are wired directly in, no longer running through the ECU.
And no, there’s no way it will pass obd2
