The MOST 'JDM' Car?

Quite the ambiguous question.

There are many things that can be considered, i.e. production numbers, availability in the United States, availability in other countries, recognizability, appeal, etc. etc.

However, for now, narrow the question down to Which vehicles provide the iconic representations of Japan and Japanese Motorsports.
(Even though those guys across the pond seem to really enjoy throwing their cars sideways, Drifting is NOT the ONLY Japanese motorsport!
-JGTC
-Japanese Rallying
-Touge and other Japanese grassroots motorsports).

[SIZE=2]Skyline will be an obvious choice and popular pick. Consider other cars as well.

skyline hands down. when i think exlusive jdm, i think skyline. but at that, i will admit that there are more exclusive cars.

i agree, but its become more of a jdm/big cock import icon then any other. so naturally when i think jdm, i think skyline

Not the answers you were looking for, but it’s how my mind works. I dont think of the silly FWD cars, or the Supra, Skyline, FD fans.

My cousin has a JDM RHD CRX SiR Glass top. I think most any Honda is a very “iconic” representation of Japanese motorsports. VTEC yo.

Obviously it’s my station wagon.

But really Skyline, and EVO pop in my head.

Honda being one just due to a lot of the terminology thrown around, and the fact people spend thousands getting JDM parts when they could build it to be twice as good for the same.

AE86 most people just don’t know what it is nowadays. But it doesn’t change the fact that I <3 them and at one point was an icon for import performance.
