Part of me smiles seeing that, and the other part says “meh”.
The comic did a pretty good job of emphasizing that the car was pretty much a cavalier by japanese standards, but the fanbois seem to have missed that.

Yea, that is a funny video. But I mean, Skylines aren’t really known for handling. A civic hatch or an ITR with some suspension would just as easily kill a skyline on that same road. AE-86’s are not the “end all be all” of handling.
