surprised to see it not under the tail, i really like that about my 2011, one of the things i really liked styling wise about the daytona
I don’t know how it performs against the 2012 and earlier, but style-wise … I think Triumph took a step backwards.
2013
2012
Why go from Projectors to regular Halogen? Bulky mirrors compared to the previous gen, and the overly large 3rd-eye is unappealing to me.
The back end of the bike does look nicer though, and while I like undertails, I know they are a thing of the past. The new CBR is the only thing keeping it.
Post bigger pictures please.
Not my fault this forum doesn’t have an auto-resize like the 99.9% of every other vB forum.
Vlad’s slipping. :crackup
Not a fan I like the 2012 about more
Can’t believe you weren’t a fan of the undertail exhaust.
Personally that’s still one of my favorite features on many bikes, such as the 636.
That’s been in the works for years… you know any web developers? :ninja
Undertail exhaust looks good, but that’s about it; and it is done at a cost of adding weight to the bike and raising its cg. All that extra piping routing a 18lbs exhaust at a location furthest away from the center mass of the bike is just bad for handling.
i love my 11. in terms of sport bikes i’ve ridden all the jap bikes uin the 600 class and the daytona is just so much more nimble and responsive when it comes to taking corners hard. not a huge fan of the 13 in terms of looks though, but i’m prolly bias as well
