What’s sticker on these now?
starting @ 126 and goes to 205 with full trim.
Pretty ambitious pricing for what you can get comparatively…
What does this get shopped against 911 Turbo/R8? I am guessing Lambos/F-cars are much more?
I just think this is going to be like the Lexus LFA…a pretty good car sold by a brand with not a ton of “enthusiast” heritage making it sort of irrelevant.
As a fan of noisy V8s, I would take a Shelby GT350 for $60k or a top of the line Vette for sub $100k or a P Car GT3 for $150k before I spent $200k on an Acura
^^ I totally disagree with that, but then again I’m a fan of these cars. I’d take this over the i8, R8, etc.
You would!
There was a video where they were calling it the slowest super car. LMAO. Just like the old one.
I think this is the cheapest car available right now with torque-fill?
If they went 20 laps the Porsche would probably be the only one still running.
I didn’t watch the video but I would put my money on the NSX outlasting the Porsche, Japanese reliability >*
Watch the video. Japanese are reliable grocery getters not track cars. They may be reliable against each other but when pushed to Euro limits they fail.
My first hand experience is that both Japanese and German vehicles are reliable in track environments, but then again we measure our races by hours, not laps.
If it makes you feel better here is another video of how slow the NSX is, this time being schooled by 3 Germans:
I didn’t see 3 Germans, I saw 3 Japanese driving German cars. There is the problem.
I actually like the old NSX, in fact I was just looking at one with more respectable hp than the stock one offered. I am just not sure I could fit into one, especially with a helmet. lol
agree to disagree, euro cars are great but are far from reliable. japanese cars are very reliable but arent the fastest nor luxurious
No, everyone knows many Jap cars have good quality. I was trying to be funny because the NSX got over heated whiling racing German cars. Like I said I actually like the old NSX, I just happened to also like insane amounts of torque too.
Motor Trend Ignition Review:
this is a whole other level of great this video. i’ve never really been a huge NSX fan beyond knowing they’re cool but this is a really respectful peek and jay leno interviewing this chick is pretty awesome to see. a very different strategy than Top Gear or Chris Harris
Jay asks all of the right questions. He gets a ton of info out that lots of magazine tests would miss. Good video!
