no your right i didnt post my first day out, untuned, na track times with a car that was having problems. but you were a pal and did it for me :tup: maybe you can find out what it dynod and post them yourself again. just ask around like you did before… JT and JNJ know maybe they will hook a brother up?
maybe youll find out what it runs at the track when i go again, and post those too.
maybe youll find out who wins when me and JT76 race.
at this point i dont think posting results here of races/track times/or dyno numbers does anything more than get people to talk more shit…

SxFxZ that day may work. We got a trailer last night to bring my car out for today but i dunno about this weather today and another day on Jays dyno can only help more so I might post-pone a bit longer and be able to meet up with you then ill keep ya posted.
I do gotta give a big thanks to jay though for letting me run this thing on his dyno day after day and helping out like he is :tup:

I don’t dig or search for anyone’s cars. I’m just wondering why you don’t post useful info in a build thread you created.
No one really talked about your Lancaster times but me. This is a car forum. We talk about cars. :snky: is lame now a days. Flaunt it if u got it
I wouldn’t expect your car to rip on its first track pass. I’d expect a decent number, but nothing more. Posting a few slips, will help other people (like me) who weren’t there, to possibly give you some good advice on what to do next. Maybe some troubleshooting things to look for, if the timeslip intervals are not what they should be. A video of the launch would help to, specifically looking at the rear tires. Being sneaky won’t get you any help from people not in the “clique”. I’d like to see the car run, as would many others.

I didnt create this thread it was moved here. but whatever im fine with it. I wasnt flaunting it cause i didnt have it yet. but you found out and posted it anyways. still, doesnt really matter to me. I was pissed it only trapped 99.98 first day out. But I expect too much sometimes and its realistic now that I know more about what was going on with the car. I have no problem posting up good fast slips, when I get them… but if its going to turn into a bunch of bullshit ill just keep it to myself.
Trust me I am all for all the help i can get with this. the slips i have already probably arent worth much to look at at this point. ive got a wayyy better fuel system on it now and probably 8 pulls on the dyno so far making changes each time. the next passes should be an improvement and i can either post them or send u them if youd like. i dont care enough anymore to keep everything i do a big secret. itll get faster with others help i know that. i just dont like posting info if im gunna hear shit about it from people. at the end of the day all i want is a fast car that runs good and to have fun racing some other cars.
Best way to not get any shit is to do a big track day. Say you are going to be at the track a particular day. Invite everyone to come and hang out and get some runs. Ask for help on things if you are unsure. You’d be surprised how helpful everyone at the track is. I’d go, i’m sure Choda would head up too to watch a few runs and see how it’s running. Nobody is going to laugh at a guy trying to make his car faster at the track. You have the big pieces already there, time to tweak it and let it rip. There’s not much time left in the season. Big MOMS race on Oct 20th, track prep is great!

I heard that Jay needed new anchor bolts for the dyno after your car, time to step up my game.
if you’re going to go to the track get there early. i think the temp started to drop off a bit and i couldn’t hook for shit. there were a few other cars there that were doing pretty well so im not really blaming the track as much as my car but i lost .5 seconds off of my 1/8th and .3 from my 60’ from lancaster… just sayin lol
im sure on the 20th the track will be good. who knows how many runs you’ll get in tho. if i would have got there on time last time i went i bet i could have got 12 passes for the night
Hopefully you have resolved the fuel system issue and the car is making more power. If the car hooks it will go way faster. I cut my 60ft time a tenth and gained 2 tenths and 2 MPH IN THE 1/8th this year. Did you get to spray it on the dyno? I wanna get out one more time this year and run the Nova again.
I def agree a track day w multiple passes would do wonders for ya. I can’t promise I can make it on the 20th but that would be the day I would go or that I can make ur car über fast but i can tell u having the right people w u that know something about racing and putting down good ets is always a good thing. I’m not saying ur gonna be part of the wolf pack but maybe start u in the puppy pack w gennaro. Hahahaha
So post up some dyno sheets so I can see ur curves baby. What made u change anything in the tune? I’m guessing u just adjusted the timing and jets. Before and after results? How did you tune it?
