^ I agree with you Adam. The problem is the media and liberals have people brainwashed into thinking that if they can outlaw firearms violent crime will cease. Funny thing is states with open carry laws have far lower crime rates then NYS, because there is a very good chance that if you try and inflict bodily harm on somebody or break into their house you will wind up in a body bag. Personally I support the backround checks they perform at a firearms store when buying long guns and think that should be the process for all firearm sales. Like you I take my right to keep and bear arms as a fundamentaly right for all Americans and so many things about this state anger me in that department. However the real problem is how nieve the public is about the subject. I went to a yuppie highschool and you wouldn’t believe the stupid shit I heard people say about firearms rights and the people that choose to exercise their second amendment rights. Either which way I will never give up my guns government mandated or otherwise.

No firearm ownership worked out well for England’s violent crime rate, lol.
