I sold my .45 Kimber 1911 Stainless TLE/RL II. I hated it because to me it’s too much of a cluster fuck to take apart.
I’m looking for another revolver now, I’d still like to find a TEC9 at some point too.
Just bought a lower and some parts to start making my own .308 AR. Also picked up a Mosin Nagant I have to get transferred in.
How difficult is that, to make your own AR?
It looks easy with all the parts available.
quite easy, just a couple basic tools and it’s essentially a lego set. A vise clamp setup and barrel nut tool make the job far easier.
AR-15, easy a .308 AR-10 not as easy. Its taken a lot of time to source those parts. The real pita in my .308 build is that they aren’t as lego compatible as the AR15 is some companies uppers and bolt carriers work together.

i learned that the first time i took my custom covert 2 apart. what a PITA. so worth it though, 1911’s are awesome.
i do like that my 3" kimber is a little easier to disassemble than the 5" models.
as far as adams post… the kimber solo carry is pure sex. i finger fucked one of them the other day and plan to add one of them to the collection at some point. waiting to see a ruger lc9 in person also.
just picked it up a couple weeks ago, keltec .380 limited, comes with a crimson trace laser and 2 6round mags, i know everyones gonna say somthing about the round size but i had a glock 27 .40cal i sold to get this i was just sick of having a holster and with this gun i can literally throw it in my pocket and be gone.
