The OFFICIAL Gun Thread.

how the hell can you get a uzi and a mac 10??? Are they legit full auto?!?!

Just ordered a few things from here…

Welcome to Vermont, Wayne.

Full auto, select fire, and supressors are about the only things that are not legal here. The Uzi and the AK pistol are used surplus items that probably go through a reconditioning at Century Arms in Georgia Vermont before being distributed to dealers. The MAC10 is made by Masterpiece Arms. https://www.masterpiecearms.com/proddetail.php?prod=MPA930T&cat=27

You could probably order one in NY, although I’m not sure what your restrictions are on magazine capacity and threaded barrels. Which makes no sense here because you can have a threaded barrel but no supressor, but a fake supressor is fine lol.

You may be able to get away with it going across the border.

Don’t quote me on legalities of that.

Even that would be tricky. There is no firearm registration of any type here, so even going back into NY with an unregistered weapon would be asking for it.

In NY any rifle bought off a private party needs no registration, hence why I say that.

Orly? That’s good to know!

unfortunetly not unless the weapons were produced preban. In NY you can’t own any legit kalashnikov or IMI weapons unless they are preban. For the Russian stuff you have to get SAIGA imports then modd them, for the Isreali stuff your basically SOL as far as I know.

So all post ban Ak’s Ive seen are not legal?

Fair enough.

i got you all beat.

Where do you get your info:

Looks good!

I have a 1984 Ruger 10-22 with an Archangel kit on it. Love the small rifle, really accurate and reliable.

Tried again this weekend with same result. I called Glock directly and they are shipping me a new recoil spring. They are aware of the issues with the Gen 4 Glock 17 and 115 gr ammo. I put 130 something grain through it and it was better, but jammed on the 4th round.
Some people had the original spring completely come apart on them while firing. eeek.
So, we will see what happens when I get the new spring!

There are also certain weapons manufacturers that are banned

lolz @ TEC9 being banned.

Still needs 2 of the items on he no-no list.

I heart my new 12ga :hug

toomanycamaros: They are not illegal in NYS. Shit, B&J has two Steyr AUG’s right now for sale, and a Colt AR-15 lol. It needs two things on the mod list as well, unless it’s a pre-ban rifle.

pics or gtfo :stuck_out_tongue:

I saw them there the other day. My boss just sold his. According to him, it can be the exact same gun, it just can’t be called the same thing.

This is the same information that I have been given multiple times from both firearms store owners and law enforcement officials I know. The whole AK ban thing just means you can’t know an AK rifle that is made by kalashnikov. However it is perfectly legal to own a SAIGA rifle. It’s still commonly refered to AK just like almost any M4, M16, AR15… style rifle is refered to as an AR. There is also some other law that governs country of origin on a certain number of parts in the weapons. I don’t know enough to comment inteligently on it, but my AK freak friend told me about why he had to reconfigure different parts of his new SAIGA after buying it, because the parts he wanted weren’t allowed on import.
