i dont know if anyone responded i just saw your post, you have to be very careful with building your own ar. the lower has to be registered with the feds and state before you can build it. you can be busted by the atf if you are found to be manufacturing weapons without a permit or anything being registered. just you know before you do anything.

Vermont is not NY. not sure if they have the same rules when it comes to that. the Fed level is un avoidable, but state to state is always different.

The Uzi is butter, so awesome. My friend bought the same MAC10 a week before I got mine, he said there is trigger slap like a mofo but its fun to shoot.
When you by a lower in NYS is has a serial number on it. You cant buy one and have it shipped to you. The lower is treated as a firearm and has to go through someone with an FFL which does the swift background check and paper work. what your stating is if you where machining your own lower without and FFL for manufacturing. Other the the lower housing anything else is fair game.

My dad just bought a Model 1894 Winchester, 1897 3rd year of production. He says it’s a takedown, really rare, and worth a lot. Something about the year after, they made a shitload of them. The hell if I know. This the same gun except his has a flip up sight on the stock instead of the barrel.
Since Cossey’s parts cam in faster I have his completely assembled before mine.

havnt actually fired one of the 5.7 hand guns yet no. have heard wonderful things about them though. i felt it was a must have in my collection because i have the ps 90 and also have a AR 5.7. being able go from an AR to a PS 90 to a hand gun without changing caliber is something that im very found of.

finishing/starting a few of my ar builds and wondering what everyone likes to run for lower parts kit and triggers? i need at least one lpk with a trigger and a new trigger for one of my other ar’s. my rock river has a rra 2 stage and it seams to be decent, but reviews say after time there turn to junk quickly.
whats everyone think?
