The OFFICIAL Gun Thread.

damn. that IS cheap!

Camo’ed the fuck out of my bird gun a few days ago. Turkeys can see the dirt on your face so this should definitely help a bit. Old H&R break action 12gauge. I shoot some hot 2.75" #6 shot out of this thing and it kicks worse than my dads 300 whetherby’s. Cossey can attest to that. I bought a limb saver stock cover for it to reduce this, and put a fiber optic front sight on for early morning turkey killing :mwahaha

Also got a sweet ass gift from JVG today that I’ll be building up over the next few weeks here and will post pics then :excited

How did you camo it? Single shot?

Mossy Oak poly laminate, Infinity Breakup style. They have about a dozen different types of laminate. I went with the IB with the majority of the surrounding area matching up closely to that style of camo. It’s kind of a bitch to apply cleanly but once lined up and down it looks really good.

Shotgun looks good Adam. I’ve heard those h&r’s do have some kick!

If anyone’s looking for an upper or a lower i will most likly be doing an ad tomorrow. Have some stuff I wanna build/pick up and need to move some of the stuff I don’t need.

Thanks. I have your bullets and stuff here.

Sweet, when we meet ill bring the upper for you to look at incase your still interested.

Remington Model 7 .260 (long range predator setup)
Thompson Center Encore with a .50 cal muzzle loader and Remington 7mm .08
(Basic setups on both for deer hunting)
Remington 870 3.5" Ultra Mag 12g Full Camo (turkey, small game setup)
Remington 870 20g

Thats it for now

^ lol’ing hard at the 870 ultramag for turkey hunting. Get um! :rofl:rofl

whats the difference between an ultramag and supermag? my supermag shoots 3.5"

Both have the capacity to shoot 2.75, 3, and 3.5" shells. Mossberg 835 is called the ultramag. Personally both are overkill unless you’re looking to send a lead slug downrange past ~175yds with accuracy. Murder on the shoulder, but then the hot rounds I have loaded in 2.75" variants are no joke either so I’m not one to complain.

I’ve always had the notion that if I needed a long range shotgun, I’d buy a rifled bore gun and shoot ballistic tip sabot shells out of it.

So far I’ve done a couple small things to my USC.

  1. HDPS accessory rail set. Very well made, no sharp edges or anything.
  2. Magpul RVG. Feels real nice, and I’m not usually a fan of vertical foregrips.
  3. Vortex SPARC red dot. Can not wait to sight it in. The gun feels tacticool now.

And Adam (Boxersix) finished up my Saiga conversion, and I LOVE how the fun feels. I feel Soviet just holding it.

Both are BADASS :lol

is it just the pic or is the furniture like bright ass red?

Pic shows it brighter than it really is, but it’s a lighter stain red for sure,

Yea, here’s a better pic along with a few others of me guns. I got bored and sloppy so I broke out the cam.
