between 2-7 mt nebo road was bumper to bumper and our pumps were packed, than the power went out…and ppl just kept coming…
roads aren’t to bad now, just gotta watch out for deeeeep puddles…

Etna is right down the hill from my apartment. It’s fucking insane down there. 7-11, Alioto’s, and the Blarney Stone are completely ruined.

They wouldnt let us close our stores at the mall, because they were telling everyone to stay up on the hill. (for those who dont know…i manage Aldo shoes at Ross Park Mall) There were cars and SUV’s floating down Mcknight road. The only way to get in and out of the mall is Mcknight rd. They blocked all entrances to and from the mall so that no one could leave or come up to the mall. When I got there at 2:30, i had to drive through 6 inches of standing water to get up the hill, so i could just imagine how bad it got after I got to work. My wife called before she left work and says shes been evacuated (greentree/carnegie) and that shes on her way home. So then she calls me and somehow reached me, (because our cellphones were getting the circuits busy signal) and tells me that shes having a hard time driving throught the water…UUUUGHGHHH! So I tell her to be careful and not to drive through standing water and then hang up. I turned on the radio and started hearing all the shit going on so then i call her back…and cant get in touch with her. I heard there was a mudslide on 79 (the way she comes home) so i got a hold of my buddy at verizon wireless and he calls work and has them force her phone number through a different circuit so he could call her to see if shes ok. Of course right in front of where she is stopped with only 1/4 tank of gas is the friggin mudslide. I thought for sure she was going to have the baby right there in front of everyone! She finally got home and as she pulled into the house the “E” light comes on on the gas gauge. I couldnt leave the store, but they finally closed the mall at 7:15.
