he does have a built motor so once he gets a fmic he could turn up the boost, im not sure what his turbo max’s out at but I highly doubt hes maxing it out right now on his tmic.

so will I but I still think if he finished building his car by putting the fmic, 3" cat-back and a new clutch he could turn up the boost, tune it and get 400awhp

hell yeah the one he has now is, stock top mount on a much larger turbo isnt a good idea, he says it gets heatsoaked quick

the lt1 made good power, but it the design of the engine was, i dont really know how to say it, but somewhat over the top, everything that they did to make things better i.e. reverse flow cooling heads and optispark, held the car back from full potential. Anyone that wants to make REAL power in an lt1 converts the car back to an older style distributor, gets earlier small block heads worked to reverse flow, and they throw on a single plan intake manifold witha carb, so pretty much its an old small block, to me it defeats the purpose.

Wrong. the stock evo clutch is junk if youve ever read about evo 8/9’s most people are running into clutch issues with around 30k on the cars. not saying ALL are, but a vast majority. and for my money, id take a evo IX SE

no doubt id like to see travis car go with a freshy clutch and a 3in TBE so he has no excuses to use anymore, and just run it balls out.

its a fucking $34k car brand new, a simple component such as a clutch isnt that much to ask out of a car, especially one dubbed as a high preformance car such as the evo, you think you’re better than me?

well i dont wear tight pants and i know what im talking about when it comes to cars, so i guess so. the evo wasnt designed to be a drag racer, its a road/track bred, former rally car for the street, just like the STi.
