don’t give him too much credit, this is the first time i’ve seen him since Dec 19th and i’m fairly sure that he’s only prepping me so that when we goto DC i don’t fuck up in front of HIS bosses. but he so far he does seem to be a nice guy and pretty knowledable… i’m just so jaded that i don’t trust anyone anymore
Have you tried Temp agencies? We bring temps in all the time… I worked for one for 2 years… there was only 1 week that I was out of work in the entire 2 years…
In IT we use Tekk Systems… For “Secretarial” type positions I think they use Olsten staffing… I’m sure there are plenty of others…
it’s tek systems and yeah… there are hundreds of staffing firms…
the problem is that she cannot work day light or night because of school on different days… so she needs an employer that can work around her… after this semester of schooling she can start to plan classes around a work schedule, but her current employer told her that they would work around her hours… yet this week she was scheduled for 4 hours and was sent home.
Where would this be located…? I know a landscape guy :blue:

When exactly can she work… Like Mon, Wed Friday 10 -2… I know when I was temping they found me jobs for when I could work… Not necesarily M-F 8 hours…

Temp services are jokes. Temps get treated like crap. The only company I know of that treats their temps as full time employess (meaning vacation and benefits) is costco.
I’ll be graduating with Atreyu in the fall with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. I am not worried about job hunting though. I am so ca$h.

Too bad hes not a Civil Engineer… My dad is always looking for new grads for his company…
Side Note… degrees mean nothing… it means you will get a job over someone without a degree… but with the number of people with degrees is increasing… so chances are getting slim.

well being that i could either get a job where i coop (i make more cooping than the average person does) or get a job with one of the other companies that i know people in. I am not worried what so ever about getting a job. And to tell you the truth, i dont know any kids who have had trouble getting a job out of school.

I have learned that just because you know people… doesnt mean they need help… and just because you have a degree doesnt mean you are qualified…
I know plenty of kids that have been out of school for a long time and plenty of them have a job not even in their field or have a job at all…
Have fun when you get out of school and find nothing because you and a half million other people just graduated with the same degree.
