Wow, I’m not trying to be a jerk but that’s possibly one of the most pompous things ever said on this board. Sad, very sad.

I can tell you from experience of interviewing a bunch of engineers who can’t get a job in engineering and then try to go in to information technology looking for jobs that it’s not as easy as you might think. If you get in good with your coop place then go you, but I can assure you that I made more money working part time in IT in 1999 than you will make your first year full time - so who really cares what you are making cooping. Most of the guys I knew in school that stayed in that field (various engineers) ended up having to get masters or PhD’s to get a decent job that they could actually advance in.

^^^True… It is difficult to get a job … degree or not. And just because you have a degree doesn’t mean you will get a job…

thank god im not in engineering :gome: …seems like too much bs if you ask me

See this is why I have cooped while going to school. So when i graduate school in 4 and 1/2 years (wow an extra 1/2 yr) I will have 2 full years of engineering work experience. I do the same work full time engineers do where i work now. And the bosses like me. So like i said, I KNOW i’ll be fine.
:gome:

do i care or am i worried…

until another intern walks in and steals your sunshine.

Newchic - Not sure where the company will be located out of yet somewhere NE PA… But as for additions, porches, decks whatever that would be me …

With the attitude that you are showing you should be. You are a dime a donzen. Sorry that who ever told you that you are special lied to you.

Wonder why engineers get bad names?

:crying:

I’ll tell you why… Because they design within a box… no outside thinking what so ever… arrogant think they know it all people … they are the ones that design dead end parking lots –

you’re not intellegent enough to care, nor smart enough to worry.

so you’re golden.

Thats why we work half in the office and half in the lab. So on our current projects, we design and test the prototypes. And there are far from parking lots.

intellegent enough not to care what you think and smart enough to know the people that do matter.

yet not ample enough to come up with your own retorts?

:gives:

me and you… obviously…

i know i dont
