The "Oil Prices" thread.

Just dropped 5-10 depending on the station around here.

the ones i fill at stayed right at 3.85 so :gotme:

http://www.buffalogasprices.com/retail_price_chart.aspx

I saw $3.99 for 93oct at the sunoco on transit/seneca.

Kinda funny to see how bad it is in Buffalo.

Run a chart over 6 months with Buffalo, San Diego, and Long Island.

Buffalo right now is the most expensive and actually spiked with LI when crude oil went down quickly while San Diego has been on a constant decline in price.

We’re at about 3.59 for regular in Rochester. Buffalo sucks.

:frowning: 2 of the 3 spots I get gas jumped in price.

Friday - 3.55 for 93. Monday 4.03 damnit.

crude oil $112.40 +7.85

way to bail out the banks, and weaken the dollar. Maybe before Bush leaves office we can hit that $5 a gallon mark for gas :bloated:

edit: goddamnit, dont get me going today

Oh relax. Once the bailout is finalized all these investors that are looking to move money into something more stable (oil) while the details are worked out will abandon oil again.

So never?

End of the week maybe?

The government will move quickly on this.

  1. It’s an election year.
  2. This really is something that they can’t let partisan BS get in the way of.

Oil futures set to make biggest one-day move ever after hitting daily limit as cost of a barrel of crude leaps $25 a barrel to $130.

muther FUCKer. im having trouble breathing over here.

I suppose the upside is that nothing has changed supply or demand wise, so once this bailout mess is over and the dollar goes back up oil will come crashing down again.

Of course, then we’ll probably have to bail out all the oil investors.

fuck. fuck!

lol im sooooo glad the market was down and oil up today. It bought me a minute to make some trades I wanted mid last week. Thanks oil!

wtf!

lol jk

Well this proves that oil prices all fueled only by supply and demand and speculation has nothing to do with them.

/sarcasm

Haha this is awesome. Invested about $400 each with some people all in an account. We got in on it when it started to climb at $93 and selling today at close.

Also grabbed some Fannie Mae at $0.45 with them. Got the shares at $0.45 and now its up 100% and pushing $1 a share.
