yea im thinking of cutting itflush but i sorta love the look of how it gangster sticks out
and the skirt is bending at that point so its impossible for it to be fully flush.
we’ll see.
its all new stainless except the small peice of testpipe+flange that i kept
yea dan my car will still be one of the quieter cars there, the naturally asperated high comp BMW’s with open exhaust are ridiculously loud
oh and the rotaries

yeah i know its a race car, yes the Y is for looks …but what this isnt?
how much different is this than the exhaust exiting the rear?
are you getting an advantage this way?
the only advantage is the shorter pipe = little bit less weight… still not going to be a significant difference on the track
so its really done for pure preference, my preference was the old way thats all

the exhaust passing under the subframe is added weight, less ground clearance, another flange, more backpressure, and makes the underside of the car less smooth for aerodynamics…

That’d be super baller supreme.
Having driven my car now for a few weeks with an open exhaust…there is no way this mod is JUST for looks.
Back Pressure on turbo cars rots!

Har har…
so true greg
No seriously though, the exhaust looks badass.
Oh another note that might sound silly but I’ve heard it a few times in the past - in actual race cars a lot of times mufflers are put higher up (like a zonda or something) because if the nose of a car hits the back of another car it can damage the pipe and kill the flow.
unlikely, but possible!
kinda off topic, but sasha, waht did you use to put the skirt back on after the shannonville drift session. your driver side skirt came off…so yeah…
i need to use some stronger materials to hold up my skirts, its starting to sag.

now THATS cool ^^.
Trucker mustang, i like it.
man my aero doenst exactly fit nicely
i just screw it in wherever i feel like. it flaps and sags and all sorts of shit but i dont care
i didnt mean flush necessarily, just the angle of the edge parallel to the body
either way, good work
