The deficit matters more and is a harder subject as it’s very GDP related and even if Trump did amazing things it wouldn’t change until after he was gone. So technically for my point I should be using both.
As far as the debt goes one thing I wil say is; I am loading up on physical assets for when the house of cards collapses. I see “middle class” people pissing away their money and I just SMH.

Cool. So posts in this thread from a month ago reference how the debt was going down. You can see from the government link I posted the progress made. It’s going back up now though.
If Obama can increase the debt by 80+% in 8 years, it’s certainly possible that Trump can lower it over his term. But no one thinks he can eliminate it all, and I’m certain no one will vote for or against him over it anyway.

Here’s a question, in various business classes and just pure common sense says to be smart with money etc… but it seems like by traditional standards, high GDP growth and an extremely healthy economy would primarily rely on people being very stupid with their money? I mean every time you hear about tax cuts you also hear about how people have more spending money in their pocket to stimulate the economy… but if they are smart with their money and save , don’t buy crap they don’t need etc. would that not nullify the formula? is that ever really factored in?
I understand there are certain things that don’t fall in that category but usually small amounts of cash are spent on quick gratification type of services and not things like a new roof, new siding, new driveway etc.
