hey guys here is a few pics of what has been going on at “garage S13” i guess you could say…
Basiclly its me, jordan, and andi (my girlfriend) renting a shop and working on our cars
all three of us have got quite a bit done in the past 2.5 weeks and are looking forward for the weeks to come so enjoy the pics

This is the 2jz final mokup with the temp motor mounts i have drawn the mounts and am making them out of stainless steel cut by the CNC plasma at my work so excpet a drastic change in looks for these mounts

This is Andi’s car…it is a very clean 240 that we picked up for dirt cheap and it will be getting a ca19-det and a few other things, basiclly she is building it for a drift car (and no i did not do the work thats done on this car except for the welding and lossening of really tight bolts she has done everything from rippin it apart to pulling the motor)

The strut toweres stich welded…not doing the whole car cuz of personal preference!
and a pic of some rust that we cut out…the rust was not that bad on the car but there deffinetly was some hidden rust
And last but not least this is Jordans car…dont have many pics but from what you can see he is doing alot of work

Just wondering your opinons on stich vs seam welding(ie completly welded, obviously in little half inch or inch beads to prevent warping). If the purpose is to strenthen the chassis, wouldn’t that be more effective? Or is it just too much work? Havn’t looking into either really, but curious to know the advantages of both.
Realy all that you would need is just a couple of welded spots where the sheet metal over laps. The res is basicaly for looks, i probly only need 1/4 or 1/2 thoughs stiches.
