I don’t don’t see it being good without an original cast.
The cast is what made the series, not the principle.
Look at any successful series in history, if you change a main character or two it’s just not the same or even unimaginable.
Some tried it and failed.
I cannot watch that 70’s show without the original cast.

Russian translated version of old American shows is quite a unique experience let me tell you that much.
