There's something seriously wrong with me. FIX ME PLEASE!!

I have a serious urge to dump lots of money into my Honda instead of putting my money where I should be on the RX7.

I’m serious. I found a killer deal on a B18C swap for $1300. That’s a steal.

I really really want to grab it but that 1300 plus all the extras which will turn out to be realistically 2500 or so…at least would be really WELL spent on the 7. (I could do all my bushings, front suspension linkage stuffs, 2 way, fix misc that needs fixing AND grab stuff to put me at over 375 WHP and 450ft lbs or so. ho ho ho ho) Or I could build a sickkkkkkkk daily driver.

grrrrrrr…I have an insane urge to build the EK up as a time attack machine that retains all my comforts…ie, AC, nice stereo, HEATED MIRRORS, cruise control, etc…whats wrong with me? SLAP ME!

This gets me all hot and bothered. My first car was a Honda and I’ve always loved them and a Type R is my idea of a perfect circuit car…the only thing that keeps me playing with RWD is the drift fun factor.

This car is just sex. I want one.

Someone please talk me out of this and make me spend money (that I don’t actually have YET but very soon ahhahaah) on my RX7. PLEASE@!!! Otherwise, I’ll go ahead and make a wicked Honda but still have an awesome yet unfinished RX7 project.

shouldn’t need to talk you out of it. With an rx7 you can both drift and grip, with a civic you can grip and ass drag.

PLUS put in ricer boy inflation, Honda’s are way to expensive to work on.

Hondas are for car guys that wanna be cool, but don’t know how, so they buy a Honda. I daily drive an Integra but still, its reliable etc. Just buy a daily driver Honda and put coils on it.

I’m not the biggest fan of that body style Rx7 but that red ones pretty sexy. Spend the money where you want, I find if I don’t have a project, then I try to hard to find something wrong.

Hondas are all the same. and the drivers are mostly douche bags that think their car, with the style thats the same on 90% of them, from cali 5 years ago is the siqqqqqqqest car ever

I already own a Honda as a daily driver. I want to do a swap. :frowning: I’m trying to figure out how to build both cars this season. I may have to bite the bullet and actually shoot some more weddings this summer. :frowning:

I’m well aware that with hondas, there is not much room for doing anything new or original, that goes the same for nissans. Then again, I don’t care at all about being original. :smiley: if any of you guys have sat in or even better driven a well prepped Vtec car? Ie, a built or mildly modded LS/Vtec setup or a b18c5 with some cams? Uhhhhhhh, pure jizz. I love that sensation of hitting an apex at WOT with vtec howling away. Good times.

I dunno, I don’t think I can neglect the 7, but at the same time, I don’t think I can neglect the Honder. I’m gonna see if the dude can hold it for me for a bit so I can get the 7 up to the spec I want it to be for the season. Maybe skip the full widebody and kit.

Have you heard of the G23 swap, h22 head, with f22 tranny, apearently costs 1800 all together dropped ito your car, and puts out around 250 whp, more then a j swap :open_mouth:

Hondas suck… I’ve owned 3 and don’t want another one. I’ve owned a 380whp DA, 280whp crx and a 180whp Ej1. Yah they were fun, But ive never had so much fun in that gray s14 you sold me ronnie. It was a blast.

But for the Daily driving aspect, hondas are great reliability

Yeah, your hondas were all turbo from what I know. I’m not a fan of brute force turbo hondas. I like well prepped time attack prepped NA VTEC focused Hondas.

Big difference. Its not about horsepower for me, its the whole driving experience and fun factor. Its a lot of fun going WOT clipping a perfect apex with fun, yet very manageble horsepower. Ie, an NA honda with some very aggressive cams.

i have a buddy that has a jdm h22 with jdm lsd short gear tranny and the ecu…all poly motor mounts…all it needs is the wiring harness
