Just get your priorities strait, if you can afford to build a EK with a B18c then do it. Build 5 -10 -250 cars if you enjoy building multiple cars and not getting the desired use out of one solid car thats how you are. I know a lot of guys like you, my buddie Andrew has like 4 cars on the go between him and his dad and i KNOW that they will never have one QUALITY car that has a soul purpose for either (racing, daily driving, or daily beating/racing) to me it is a lot more fees able to drive a NORMAL street car, suck up your urges and build a race car if RACING is your goal… if you don’t REALLY care to race, or compete, or take your car to the limits, build a street/fun car… but you can’t have expectations like you would a designated race car - its pretty simple man -
look at it this way - NOTHING gets done until you have a goal - so tell us your goal - and don’t say build a daily, thats got this and that and this, and have this as a race car and blah blah haha - if your racing you gotta do it right, get a truck, get or rent a trailer every time - and race that bitch - save your money Ronnie your young, drive a nice clean daily with no mods, enjoy staying away from police and saving money on gas, and build your rx-7 THAT right there is MY opinion haha

I actually thought about doing the same thing lol. I don’t like th B16 at all. The one thing I like about Honda’s that they are good on gas even when built in an all motor form. I could live with a b18 Civic and be happy, where as the RX-7 is drunk on octane whether it’s v8 or rotary. I can see why you’d do it though. The reason why the only money I spent on modding it was some Nokya bulbs was that I knew it wouldn’t just stop at one mod like an engine swap. Then it’s be the steering wheel, the seat, the rad, etc. It’s be like the 240: never ending without 20K. And I figured it’s better to have one never ending pit than two.
Cuz I don’t a 400whp honda. I want a 200 whp at most honda, all motor, all vtec. Hohoho. Its fun factor I’m after.
Also, main reason is that this chassis clean, with original paint etc etc. Solid and “known”

Do what ever you like man, in all honesty, I’d say grab that B18, build it up a bit, coils, wheels, a few other goodies. You may end up liking it better then the FC, regardless of what anyone thinks or says. Sometimes the amount of shit everyone says makes me sick. It’s YOUR car, if it’s FWD, and people hate, then fine, they can keep on at it. If it’s RWD and you get nothing but nut gobbling, then that’s fine as well, but at the end of the day, your the one driving it.

B18C for the EK with F&F Coils (Function and Form…not the other…hohoo), OEM Recaros, Tie Bars, and Stereo.
…and the regular treatment for the FC plus cage and roll centre adjusters and 10 degree steering kit this time as the vert makes it a shit flex bitch and FC stock angle is balls and hates to be slammed.
Estimated WHP for the EK is 180 with 8 ft lbs. (hahahhahaha)
Estimated NA WHP for the FC is 375 with 450 ft lbs.
Now lets see if I actually do any of this or just end up selling BOTH in a week. ahhahahahaha.
