The flats are long gone. They got “raided” about 10 years ago and half of the bars got shut down. Now the hot spot is West 6th street. There are a few nice restaurant/bars right in the heart of the ctiy:
House of Blues is good
Corner Street Cafe
Metropolitan is another good restaurant right on West 6th
Then there are about 6 or 7 bars right on the strip there on West 6th, keep in mind they close at 2 not 4.

I’ve always enjoyed the Powerhouse down on the west bank of the Flats. Howl at the Moon, a comedy club, and Rock Bottom Brewery all under the same roof. Like Joelster said, the east side of the Flats are done…all the action moved up the hill to the West 6th St. area.
Little Italy for some culture on your way out of town. I won’t take the time to give you any links…that’s your job.
Cleveland’s a pretty lively city these days, and definitely on the up as far as a revival…Buffalo should take some notes from these guys.

Was a very memorable experience,John Lennon’s glasses with blood on them,the bed he slept in,various hendrix artifacts/guitars,mini coopers hanging from the ceiling .
Titanic exhibit was good too,which is close by.

i am SO relieved to be back from cleveland. R&R hall of fame is cool. definitely check out the winking lizard tavern for dinner. but honestly, there isnt all that much to do there. you could travel around east cleveland and see how long you can go without being shot at. or go see jeffrey dahmers place in brunswick. the clubs are alright if you’re into that kind of thing. if you do go to the clubs, go to the warehouse district. the clubs are a lot nicer than the flats. science museum is cool if you’re into that. its right next to the rock and roll hall of fame

im heading to cleveland for the weekend to see one of my favorite bands. What else should the wife and I do? We’ll be there Saturday and Sunday and will be staying at the hotel indigo in beechwood
