Ok im going to cleveland this weekend for the KISS concert at quicken loans area on monday night… what good bars are near the arena that i could head to after the concert?
Just head to the flats.
Don’t do that. The flats were basically shut down several years ago. There are very few bars left on the flats and they are rough and not in a good area.
You want to head over to West 6th street. It;s like a mini-Chipewa with a few good restaurants mixed in. A real nice Marriott hotel is walking distance too, and that section of downtown is very lit up, not seedy at all.
Go to The Harry Buffalo. It’s right behind the house of blues.
I mean come on… it’s called The Harry Buffalo.
Just drink Dr. Pepper Cherry and the bitch will rain down and everyone will think you’re Gene Simmons
Shitty, I liked that area… Havent been there in about 6 years though.
Flats is no more.
West 6th is where its at…good bars all over there.
Can’t go wrong with some beers at Great Lakes Brewery, good food too. I know that they have a shuttle service from the brewery to the baseball field (which is like a block from the arena)…maybe you could grab dinner/beer then hit that up to the arena and not have to worry about driving/parking.
Head down Lorrain onto west 25th (across the bridge). Garage Bar, Great Lakes, Bier Haus, etc. Park behind the West Side Market (big-ass spire on the right hand side, free parking)
we are going here. I heard its a big Cleveland Browns bar and we are going in full bills attire. should be a good time
Agreed. My wife and I hit Cleveland up quite a bit. We tend to stay at the Holiday on Euclid, so that everything of interest is within stumbling distance (Rock hall, HOB, Baseball field, W 6th, Flannerys, etc.). Actually, the only place we don’t walk to from there is Brasa (the Brazilian place).
