My grandpa Leo was a Gulf War vet on the DD-700 destroyer, he was a gunner on a US battleship involved in the biggest naval fight of all time and shot down three japanese planes himself.
When he lived in Baytree, FL the rules were ādonāt leave your garage door open.ā Well, he fucking loved his 5series bimmer and hated going around to the side door so he left that fucker open.
Uncountable threats, complaints, LEGAL THREATS, risk of being kicked out etc and he just left the stupid door open and eventually came up with a compromise (i think it took 6-7 years). He didnāt try to sucker a million online saps into petitioning, he manned up and handled the issue himself. Just sayinā, thereās a lot of war vets with issues and IMO this is one of the weakest ones ever.

What you guys donāt get is that he puts up and takes down the flag as he was taught in the military. WITH A FLAGPOLE. Can you fly a flag half mast hanging off the side of your house? NOPE. Can you with a flagpole? Yup.

I am glad he did it anyway the HOA denied a simple request which to me says no matter what the laws are of the united states, HOA are making there own and denied him he had every right to put this flag pole up so good for him

I clearly am no medal winner or WWII vet but I did participate in CAP and earned a decent ranking and helped out quite a few police searches, I also go to school full time and have been working since I was 14 - Iām not just a rebellious dick who hates old people.

Yes, he can fly it off his house, but why? Why cant he fly it in his yard?? Its the symbol of everything this country stands for, good and bad, and should be displayed proudly.
