It all depends on what you value the most.
At the end of the day I realized that there are a lot of things that are better than money. Sure you have to have some enough to get by and have some fun, but anything more than that is really not “needed” for me.
Things people mention that important to consider;
Weather- Unless you have a job where you have to work outside, who cares? Change of seasons is cool. In August I can’t wait for it to cool down, in November/December I can’t wait for it to snow, in March I am looking forward to getting my car back on the road, etc.
Cost of living-not really an issue unless you live in a big city where things are rediculously expensive.
Nothing to do: Sounds to me like that person is the problem, not the city. Give me a 12 pack and a few friends I haven’t seen in a while and I’m entertained.
Family & Friends: If the are here, just another positive. Untill you move away, you don’t realize how many people you actually know in a particular place. Usually it’s more than you think.
Knowing your surroundings: Another pretty important thing. You know not to go to Schmidts for audi service, but you know to go to Mufflerman for a cheap exhaust fix. You know your dentist, the restaurants, the places that have good pizza. etc. There is a lot of value in the trial and error you’ve gone through in the last X years.
Just my .02 (and yes I Moved away for 3 years)

:word::word::word: Well said man :tup:
I love B-Lo and really dont ever see myself ever leaving. Family is here and too many close friends that I care about. However, I still love to travel and see new places and do new things. Thats why its totally sweet to have friends all over, you get to experience the best of what different places have to offer with said friends, it doesnt get much better than that.
I just had the fucking raddest weekend hanging out with Howie in NYC, also planning trips to Seattle, Dallas, and possibly Phoenix next year all to hang with good friends and check out what each city has to offer. It more than satisfies any urge i may get to move away. Im grounded where I am, but I make the most of my opportunities to travel and kick it with homies all over so that I dont start to second guess and wonder if another place would be better for me. Just my 2 pennies as well.
