So what do you guys think? Does he get in on his first ballot? There’s alot of big name first balloters up this year.

Wrong… he’s 7th all-time in all-purpose yards with 16,532. In front of Tony Dorsett, Eric Dickerson, Jerome Bettis. He’s more than hall worthy.

Don’t get me wrong, i’d love to see him in there and I hope he makes it, but I just don’t think he reached the level of a Bruce Smith or Jim Kelly for his position. He’s got the 4 AFC championships on his side though :tup:
:word: Squirmin’ Thurman is frickin’ awesome! The fact that he signed a one day contract so that he could retire as a Bill showed how much he valued his days playing in Buffalo. He knew that when he went into the Hall he wanted to go as a Bill.

I think he gets in but not a first ballot guy…with one SB win he would have been a first balloter but I don’t see him going this round. Obviously one of the best all purpose backs Buffalo has seen, but he hardly gets mentioned on comparisons like Sanders, Simpson, Allen, Harris…etc.
I think he deserves to get in, but I think he’ll be overlooked this year, too many others this year that are generally thought of as better choices (read: they won Super Bowls)
