I put these tires on my wheels just to see how the rims would look on my eclipse and so the car would roll as i had the other wheels/tires sold… rims look ok, but obviously the tires look rediculous… what tire size would go good with these wheels? I plan on ordering a set of coilovers soon, but even with coilovers I dont plan to slam the car at allll… just fill in the wheel gap.

with fender rolling and proper offset i have seen 245s on a 3g. guy said they didnt rub but i dont know for sure.

16" - 205/55-16 (Stock GS size) ; 225/50-16
17" - 215/50-17 (Stock GT size) ; 225/45-17 ; 235/45-17
18" - 215/45-18 ; 225/40-18 ; 235/40-18
19" - 225/35-19 ; 235/35-19
17" rims, dont no offset or width… right now it literally has like a 1 foot gap lol, fuckin thing looks like a jeep wrangler… I just want it sitting without a huge gap and without being so low that im gonna be smashing my front bumper/intercooler every 5 minutes… will 225/45/17 be good you think?
225 55 17 are whats on it now.
55’s sidewall is 4.87 in
45’s sidewall is 3.98 in
40’s sidewall is 3.54 in
35’s sidewall is 3.10 in
ya gap doesnt look good.
i would like to know the offset of the wheels to make the best answer. the width is important too. if you get a tire too wide your handling will go down if its on a skinny wheel. and if you get a narrow tire on a wide rim is gives it a stretched look. which i dont like on a street car. track only car yes. improves handling but at a cost.
i like the tire to line up with the rim. so if you have a 8" wide rim i would go 235. thats the best looking size on that rim imo.
but for me 235/45/17 is better than 225. but it depends on wheel width. the 235 will be taller and wider. it might fill the gap better than the 225. but if you lower it you might want 225.

look at my sig at the m3, bought those 19" mrr wheels for like $450 brand new, find me a good set cheap like that, you niggs that be running legit bbs wheels for like 2k when i can get a knock off set for 500 bucks are cray cray, especially when none of us race as a career where it would call for legitimate gear.
