While I personally wouldn’t plug a bike tire, when I plug a car or truck tire at work I actually burn the plug for a few seconds with a small butane torch to vulcanize the plug to the tire and make sure it doesn’t leak.
Tire plugs are or will be illigal for retailers to perform
