So i’m looking for another car. Particular car i’m looking at the seller says he lost the title. I’ve already emailed him asking if he can contact the dmv and get another. Now my question is, he can get another pending no wierd foul play right? If you straight up lost it you can get a new one from the DMV right? If he can’t get a title, there really is no reason to purchase due to reg issues and what not correct?
I lost mines. Filled out some info on the DMV site, paid $20 and they sent me a dup title. Orig owner has to reside at the same address on the title. Check out the site for more info
Going thru this right now…20 bucks, get replacement…5-8 days etc.
Alright that’s kinda what I thought. Just have to wait to hear back from him at this point. Thanks for the input.
