Title signed 5 years ago?

I just bought a motorcycle that the title was signed about 5 years ago. Will I get any shit from the dmv?

Should I sign it with a recent date? What about the receipt?

I bought a car over two years ago and it was signed. Just registered it last month with no issues at all. They didn’t question 1 thing about the whole transaction. I did sign it with the date that I took it to the DMV. I also filled out a form stating the vehicle was a gift for helping the previous owner move across country. Car was a 94 civic with a KBB of 1200 so the story wasn’t too far fetched and once again no issues with that.

Kid signed and dated everything the day he sold it to me (two years ago.) I kept everything he did the same and everything I filled out was the date I took it to the DMV.

I don’t see why it would be a problem. Maybe CALL THE DMV AND ASK THEM YOURSELF?

but, again, I don’t see why it would be an issue.
