I bought another supra but the guy is 45 mins. away. What does AAA need in order to transfer the title to me?We are having a hard time timing him coming here while AAA is still open…Can the guy just sign the title with out being at AAA?
Have him do his half then you do yours…you dont have to be there at the same time
you can have him notarize the title at AAA Then you can transfer it over on your time…
just make sure he signs it in front of the notary then gets it notarized
here is what i always did… did it with svt-evo or what ever he decided to change his name to now. :)…
he went to AAA while i was working. he signed the shit over… then i went up after i got of work… now he is working. and i signed the needed papers and got the title. we didnt have to be there at the same time.
Find a used car dealer that’s open later. They already have all the stuff to do title transfers and plates.
PA Law states the exact opposite. Title needs to be signed over in front of a notary, especially if it’s AAA. So, either:
A. Don’t go to AAA and transfer the title some small notary that doesn’t care
B. Meet him and go to a notary together
I had a title sent to me from CA. The seller signed and notorized on his end. I took it to my insurance agent and she did the rest. Set me up with registration and insurance before I even saw the bike.
power of attorney
Both people do not need to be present at the notary at the SAME time.
I’ve transferred about 7 titles where the seller goes to the notary and does his or her part and then later the same day or a few days later, I go and do my part.
too easy.
