To Cage a Del Sol

Anyone cage a del sol before? I am looking into doing it for safety of a roll over etc. I want to be a safe as possible in the sol so I was talking about getting a cage put into it. What are peoples thoughts. I heard del sols are real hard to have them done into. Let me know if anyone has done or knows of someone who has done it.

i want a pretty decent one, so I think I am going to talk to the guy who is doing my motor, to see if he can make me a welded in cage for it.

i seen a del sol with a cage/ semi cage in it on h-t. looks bad ass

it definantly looks badass…but u gotta hack up the dashboard and everything else thats the shitty part…

looks dont mean shit, this will need to be built and approved to pass tech. its not a cheap cage

A cage is designed to work with a helmet and be padded.
Also an approved seat and harnesses, which dont allow movement like a stock seatbelt.

If your head hits the cage, kiss your ass goodbye.
I raced circletracks for years, been in some bad crashes.
