To paint or not to paint?

So I stumbled across this 1998 Camaro SS M6 I couldn’t live without. Meaning I’ll probably sell it in about 3 months. The car has a small cam, headers, 3.73posi and some other nice mods. The only problem is the car needs paint…bad.

Should I re-paint it white or go the cheap route and have a friend just spray it flat olive green.

This is what she looks like for reference.

flat OD green FTW

That’s pretty! Get it painted, but not flat olive green. Or have it vinyl wrapped flat black.

I can get it painted cheap, vinyl would cost me much more.

If it goes flat it’ll be more of a fun beater, drift/burn out machine. Solid top

why paint it, something wrong?

since you will probably sell it in a few months just leave it or paint it stock to keep some resale value. No reason why you cant do heaters and drifts with the stock color

real paint.

flat green is soooo 2006

cant go wrong with the original color

Repaint it the original color for sure. Flat paint is not a good look for an F-Body in my opinion. White is a great color anyway.

Therefore, don’t waste your money. Go the cheapest route, or don’t do anything.

White. Real vote is finish your damn vette.

+1

I know :frowning: the vette should be getting done soon. I need to finish up the fuel system which I wasn’t planning on doing to the extent I did. After X-mass I should have enough time and money to finish her up. There are some races I need to get in down here.

The paint is haggard, flaking off, dull etc.
