I have a brother and we always lend each other cash, and we both pay each other back easy.
Same, well I actually lend my little bro cash and he pays up.
Rotfl at flipping off the project car pic
Hahaha poor VW.
I guess it depends on how much $400 means to you. If you can spend that on something that will potentially fail, and not worry about it, then do it. If not, well, you may want to reconsider.
Yea I mean 200 each is nothing…but if it would be more productive to toss it out the window then buy this del sol…then maybe ill just listen to you guys and keep the money in the bank
Don’t suck at working on cars and possibly selling parts/whole car and you’ll be fine.
I know several people on here who have done VERY well off of cheap cars they picked up that needed work. Everything from swapping an engine, something buried in a lake, crashed into other car, crashed into curb, to whatever else.
Expect it to need an engine, plus whatever kind of k member these have, axles, rack, other shit. Offer the guy $200, that is all it is worth, you can always sell some shit off it and scrap it. These do go for more than they should when nice, but this one has rust, pretty good damage and might need an engine.
People on here have taken some fucked up cars and made them so that 95% of the board would never know. You can always look at it as a learning experience. But you might end up learning you aren’t good at cars.
You can do better for around that same price, if you’re willing to travel. The three (!) accidents tells me a lot about this car’s previous owners, and rusty quarters usually hint at even more on the underbody.
meh on hondas it’s different. my quarters on my integra were completely fucked and the only thing that had rust underneath was part of the exhaust and some front end part. Unfortunately i find people still leave those rubber strips on underneath the quarterpanels. Eeverytime i see someone with a clean honda or acura i want to go and rip them off for them lol
uggghhh dude i was on allen last weekend and there was the cleanest 4 door ex 92-93 accord. it still had those fucking rubber strips on it!! i wanted to find the guy and tell him what to do
also, when i bought my civic, it had been a southern car up until a year or 2 before i picked it up. still had the strips on it. if i had known when my managers son bought it that i would someday own it, i would have told him… i should have anyway. kicking myself now ![]()
run away… spend the $400 on a trackday… you’ll enjoy that a lot more than having a beat del sol in your garage or an s2000 that now does .0002 better 0-60
those rubber strips are bad news right?

i wanna say my S has those
or split the car five ways and have an o.k. starting point for a LeMon, 15 to 24 straight hours > a couple 20 minute sessions.
