its really not old, it just JUNK… also beating the ever loving shit out of it every time i get in doesnt help either.
does the clutch engage right off the floor?
thanks man i apprecite that, what i was sayin is the slave cylinder itself doesnt have a bleeder on it.
most gm are self beeld therefore no bleeder.but there is a restricter in it
Yeah 3, 6, 121 puck doesnt mean anything. If that shit grabs up by your nipples while your driving it then it is spent… if it grabs down low, it has some life left. Maybe you got a oil leak or some shit on it. who knows.
yea like i said everything is fine, just doesnt cooperate wih 4th gear from a roll. its not designed to , its what you get for 175 bucks. hey i cant complain from a dig its descent.
this is not always true, what i was getting at is that if the clutch if grabbing way up high it could actually have life left and just not be fully engaging the clutch, leading it to slip
could having too much pedal travel do this?
yes and no …if the pedal adj is wrong it can cause the ckutch to stay partially disengaged
therefore slippin under high loads
Fuck it ill race the hardbody with no clutch left. :rofl
thank god for VW’s non adjustable pedal/master cylinder
but my peddle doesnt have a stopper so technically as long as im off the peddle it shouldnt be keeping it from enguaging. Maybe ill try not pushing the pedal in as much and as long as there are no grinds, that might be it.
it wont be at the bottom ,it will be at a relaxed state ,check and see if the fork is under tension at rest if it is ya got a prob
if you are pushing the pedal too far you could damage the diagphram on the clutch. if thats the case you need to build a pedal stop. but if youre in gear and rolling into it and its slipping, you arent getting enough clamping force, or the disk is shot.
i will check that for sure, thanks for the tip.
i think you guys are on to something. its got to be one or the other.
