I saw OAR in concert while only knowing 2 songs from the radio. I didn’t like any of their other songs and all the stoners were annoying.

I listen to metal/hardcore but thats not why I hate AC/DC. I like plenty of softer rock and classic rock but I just can’t stand AC/DC. Maybe it’s because they are way overplayed on every Buffalo radio station, but I just think their songs are boring as hell and his voice annoyes me.

But when people start bashing artists that are partly responsible for what they listen to today… while listening to complete garbage… that kinda aggravates me. And yes, I even listen to “jam band” stuff. So what? More talent in any jam band than some jig raping to a stolen sample loop.

While I don’t deny that jam bands have immense talent (ala Dave Matthews, Allman Brothers Band, Phish, Greatful Dead, etc.), if you’re not into that type of music, it can seem to drone and drone on.

but i do hate most cheese metal, ratt and scorpions, but that’s just because i hate 80’s metal. Give me devo, but not Poison

dude, I’ve always thought I had an awesome taste in music. I have a pretty extensive vinyl collection and listen to a good amount of different kinds of music. my quote above, which no one seemed to understand the OP’s post in that thread, was music I felt smewhat guilty of liking. and yes, I hate all the time
vinyl- derek and the dominos-layla, gram nash- songs for beginners, CSNY so far, ccr- green river, beatles- revolver, rubber sole, abbey rd. led zep 1,2,3,4, houses, presence. blind faith (glitch, do you even know who was in this band? if not, look it up… they were awesome.) lots of seger, all of the doors studio albums (even though I really don’t like them, kind of think they’re over rated) ect… ect… I could go for a lot longer. all on ORIGINAL VINYL, most in very good shape. the reason I hate jam bands is because its nothing new. that sound is 40 years old.
