In Europe. You can pick up a FQ340 while your over there also for almost half of the price.

It’s funny how close-minded people are when it comes to cars. Go ahead, pull up the mustang and C6 Top Gear vids… though we’ve seen 'em already. They pan the C6 for things that don’t even make sense. For example they’re soooooooooooooooo stuck on it having leaf springs… yet they perform perfectly and provide an amazing mix of handling/ride. Yet just cuz they are leafs it’s the end of the world. They didn’t call it a shit box by any means… they just couldn’t get over the leaf springs even if they performed well 'nough to spank most eurotrash, and that’s not even a Z06.

And did you miss the part where they hacked the Mitsu for “undressing itself”, stalling all the time, huuuuuuuuuuuge turbo lag, leg breaking ride etc? OH AND AT THE CURRENT EXCHANGE RATE 47,000 BRITISH POUNDS CONVERTS TO OVER 88,000 US DOLLARS for that Evo not much of a steal is it? Service every 4,500 miles. 4,000 miles per set of tires. I know the Z06 isn’t on the road yet but I guarantee GM isn’t going to put out a car that needs service every 4,500.

You dont change your oil every 3000 miles??? They never said what was involved in the service. It may just be an oil and fluids change to make sure it is keeping with synthetics.

Serioulsy man… you have to be kidding right? Yes, I change my oil every 3k (or less). And I’m sure a major Automotive show realizes that oil changes are required and normal. They wouldn’t bother to point it out and complain about it if that’s all the “service” was. The fact that they made an issue of it clearly implies it’s a more extensive (and expensive) service. BTW, you don’t have anything to say 'bout the 88k?

And BTW, don’t get me wrong I have a lot of respect for the Evos and the 4G63 in general. I just don’t see it as a $88k car. It is absolutely amazing for what it can do w/ so little (ie a 2.0L motor, a econo-car platform etc.). I just don’t think it’s worth 88k.

I wouldnt own one but I would rather buy a cheaper EVO and mod to that level. I would guess that the service could be so they could change the fluids and knew you were sticking with highquality. I mean you do get a 3 year warranty so the have to make sure the owner isnt being ignorant. I dont know what the service is for but there are a few things I would change every 3k if I had a car modded to that level… oil, trans fluid, and plugs.

No I didn’t miss that part. All the things like turbo lag, stalling, and leg breaking ride are the price you pay with an all out rallycar. I realize its not much of a steal, I just said its the fastest car (0-60) thats out right now for under $100k. I also said if you didn’t want the side effects such as price, lag, and a heavy clutch, you can buy the fq340 or even the fq320.

i guess those brittish guys aren’t used to heavy clutches…i LOVE a heavy clutch can’t wait to test out the act 2900
