Top Gear S.22: Clarkson Fired -> Amazon -> The Grand Tour [Nov 18th]

yeah, seems likes a “the ultimate road trip” show… Cool concept, I like that they are changing it up. After so many seasons of the same format it will be a good change of pace.

I’m SUPER pumped for this.

6 weeks can’t go fast enough!

I’m excited about this

You muppet!

I’m still upset that May can’t say “oh cock” anymore.

… Perhaps the best news was that as soon as that’s finished, they’re going straight into season two.

Awesome

Airs tomorrow 7:01pm

Anyone still watching top gear? I have actually enjoyed this season. The guys interact well and the trips have been fun to watch. Having to put close caption since the English accents are so thick is funny. Also, I have had to google English saying to understand what they are talking about ex. calling a Ferrari “ready salted”

my kids have become interested in the old version with may, clarkson and hammond.

i’ve been sticking to youtube reviews of things for the most part. havent gotten back into any structured watching over anything.

I’ve ignored Top Gear since the firing. But not really intentionally, I’d just rather devote my auto related show watching time to the crew that I know will entertain me.

I watched one Top Gear adventure special with Paddy and Freddie and I found them to be more annoying than any replacements hosts so far, including Chris Evans and even Top Gear USA with Rutledge/Foust/Ferrara. Just spectacularly awful and that was going in hoping it would be ok because I love the adventure specials.

My two car shows are Grand Tour and Car Trek (youtube with Hoovie, Tavarish and Ed Bolian).

Sure, Car Trek was basically just a big flashy ad for Autotempest, but all 3 hosts are people I follow on Youtube and they instantly had that chemistry that made original Top Gear so good. It was a little cheesy but still entertaining, something I can’t say about current Top Gear and it’s host selection.

I wish they produced more of these regularly.

If you haven’t watched Clarkson’s Farm yet you’re missing out. It was great and I hope it gets a 2nd season.

Agreed. Makes me wish i ran a farm…

Just the opposite here, lol. How much they rely of government subsidies is wild. It makes sense why, but holy hell.

Finally watched this. The wife and I tore through it in less than a week. Really interesting.

I like that it brings the nonsense of farm regulations and the other challenges farmers face to put that loaf of bread on your table and steak on your grill. My guess is a lot of Clarkson’s core demo have never worked on a farm.
