I have heard some goods and a lot of bads about both people in consideration here. I have met Chris a few times and he has always seemed like a generally ok guy and and I have seen MPD around a bunch and he honestly does come of as an elitist and smug person but im just a spec looking from the outside in.
Either way, im gonna post the same argument I have posted anytime an inter-forum shitfest occurs but im sure it will fall on deaf ears in lieu of entertainments sake.
The Western New York auto scene is far smaller than may other automotive communities around the US. We are more or less a small group of guys and gals who share one common interest, cars, and we share it in a place with a half season and a dieing population. In addition, we have efforts such as nyspeed, osyn etc,to help facilitate an entertaining organized community who is looking to expand. Just like a business, we should be looking to build and maintain long term relationships with each other in hopes for an ultimate larger community full of insightful, helpful and fun people.
When shitstorms like this happen, it really reminds me why I hate so much of you arrogant asshats. Everyone on here has to attack, be on the offensive, and always outdo the next guy. Its bullshit! I just cant understand why there is so much general kindness and care for others on every larger national forum I post on and then you go on nyspeed, a small regional forum and you have people with such little disregard for the next.
