Monday August 5th will be TOPPDRIFT’s next full day event.
Change of plans to camping and staying at the track.
IF you plan on staying the night before there are some new rules.
YOU MUST PAY to spectate or drive the night before when arriving at the track the night before (4th)
THERE IS NOW A CAMPING FEE ! due to the damages done at the Canada Day event there is now going to be a camping fee this is to cover the Security guards wages that now has to attend the night of.
Camping Fee: $10 per person.
NO ACCEPTIONS!
Gate opens at 8pm on the 4th. Drivers must pay then and same with spectators.
We apologize to the guys who had nothing to do with what happened last event , but we need to help pay back Shannonville Speedway for the damages that were done and this is the easiest way to do so.
For those who don’t know what happened, last event some guys came and camped they broke into 3 transports that park at the track for the week stole everything from a 53’ enclosed trailer and burned it, also stole a condiment table from the canteen and burned it and also stole a 20 foot picnic table from the track and burned it.

is it confirmed that drifters or spectators did the damage or could it have been outsiders?. Its a shame if this was done by someone in the community, Shannonville has been great to us and we need to respect their facility.
Its true guys. According to the TOPP Drift facebook page, its been canceled. Has something to do with the tracks new paved section falling apart. soo cheezedd
I got a call from the owner of the track, they noticed severe damage done to the paved corners of the track that have been done in July. The Shifter karts were ripping them up, they called the inspection engineer in on Saturday and he said there was no way that cars could drift before it will chew it up completely. Unfortunately due to that we needed to cancel, we don’t know how but we will make it up to you guys some way some how.
We apologize for the inconvenience and this is the first time in 21 years the owner has had to cancel an event.
Is shannonville the only track that holds events like this? It would be awesome if there were drift days a little more often. This was going to be my first time, now I have to wait longer!
