Bummer.
Take this as an opportunity to get a nice daily driver. Be smart with the money insurance gives you.
My advice is to research, find something thats good on gas but has some power to move itself out of it’s own way. Find something that handles fairly decent and not like a boat like the Alero. I’m all for giving people credit for their cars but there was nothing nice about that car. It wasn’t fast, it had a shitty engine, a weak transmission, didn’t handle worth a shit, was worth absolutely nothing, had a godawful shitty GM mid 90’s interior design, and probably didn’t even get very good gas mileage and I can bet had it’s share of problems.
I was looking at those cars way back in the day, i’m sorry but they are terrible cars.
Thanks for the advice Chris.
It had its share of problems, and I can admit, it was a boat. It was also my first car, I guess I had fun with it while it lasted. Time to find something decent.
