@Bad_Bunny do you have any insight to the real intentions behind this proposal? I have seen facebook posts saying it is to prevent the NFG Compressor others saying its the yuppies that don’t want loud noises around their subdivisions, and that the letter was sent out just to get residents riled up without knowing the whole story.
I don’t doubt that the letter was sent out for that reason. Also, I don’t go to these meetings, so don’t take this as definitive. To the locals, it seems like this group’s real intention is going after the Tonawanda Sportsman’s Club (who sold the land to NFG) as the proposed ordinance would shut them down. With the exception of the indoor pistol range, all shooting would be in violation. However, I know that snowmobile clubs are concerned too, because this would put the trails in violation as well.
Isn’t TSC on Killian Road? The group initially targeted the guy who lives on Tonawanda Creek by Campbell. Just to stop him from riding his MX bikes. TSC is miles away.

These people lost their minds when they found out about the compressor station though, and blame TSC.
We had dummies down here build 500k-1M houses right next to a gravel quarry.
They bitched about the air quality and the blasting sounds.
Quarry has been in place for 50 years, houses are a year old.
