If you live in the southeastern US you might find this offensive. If you live anywhere else you might find this funny.
Toyota is building a new plant and chose Canada even though several southeastern states in the US like Mississippi and Alabama offered way more financial incentive for Toyota to build there. Toyota’s response was that Canada’s workforce was more skilled and more easliy trainable whereas workers in the southeast US were typically uneducated and illiterate and some even needed pictures to explain how to run the machines. Toyota claims they are learning from the mistakes of Honda and Nissan about building cars in that area.
